By accessing and using StatementReview (statementreview.co.uk), you agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the service. Your use of StatementReview constitutes your acceptance of these terms in their entirety.

2. Description of Service

StatementReview is an AI-powered personal statement analysis tool. The service allows users to:

• Submit UCAS, postgraduate, or scholarship personal statements for AI detection analysis
• Receive an AI probability score indicating likelihood of AI-generated content
• Get sentence-level breakdown showing which parts may be flagged
• Receive quality feedback on structure, clichés, specificity, and tone (with Full Review tier)
• Access revision guidance and improvement suggestions

Note: StatementReview provides automated analysis. Our AI detection algorithms are trained on university detection systems, but no detection method is 100% accurate. Use this as one tool in your writing process, not as a guarantee of acceptance.

3. User Responsibilities

You agree to use StatementReview responsibly. You will not:

• Submit illegal content, harassment, or abusive material
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, hack, or interfere with the service
• Use the service for automated scraping or excessive requests
• Violate copyright or intellectual property laws
• Use false or misleading information in your account
• Resell or redistribute our service to third parties without permission

4. Payment Terms and Refund Policy

Payment Method: All payments are processed via Stripe. We accept credit and debit cards. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge your card.

Pricing: Prices are stated in British pounds (GBP). AI Check Only: £4.99 | Full Review: £14.99 | Premium: £29.99

Refund Policy: Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase. Refunds will be issued to the original payment method. Purchases are eligible for refunds if the service was unable to process your submission or if you are not satisfied with the analysis quality.

5. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership and rights to any personal statements or essays you submit to StatementReview. We do not claim ownership or use your submitted content for any purpose other than providing the analysis service.

Our Service: All StatementReview software, design, text, and algorithms are owned by LearnBase Ltd and protected by copyright. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our service without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

StatementReview is provided "as-is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:

• 100% accuracy of AI detection results
• That feedback will improve your application outcomes
• Uninterrupted or error-free service
• That the service will meet your specific needs

To the maximum extent permitted by law, LearnBase Ltd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of StatementReview, including loss of university admission, loss of income, or reputational harm.

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in abusive behaviour. Upon termination, you lose access to your account and any unpaid credits. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and legal obligations.

8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from this agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
